After analyzing about 660 000 of emails,the marketing agency Pure360 found out that just 9% of sent emails were opened between 12:00 and 14:00, where 62% were news, offers or promotions from different shops. Moreover the research has revealed that in period between 3:00 and 5:00 A.M. people became more sensitive to direct email marketing. And herewith, 27% of emails with offers from restaurants and 19% of emails with announcements of different events were opened and read during off-duty hours. Marc Munier, the Pure360 sale manager, says that the research results prove that there are certain periods of time when direct email marketing is most effective. ‘In the afternoon, recipients are more receptive for global commercial offers like: offers of financial services, job offers, or real estate offers. 42.6% of all emails with financial offers were opened in the afternoon,’ – he confirms. |
